Project Description

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Immunity tests and measurements

Since 2008 the High Voltage Laboratory is accredited according to ELOT ΕΝ ISO/IEC 17025 for a large variety of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests and measurements, associated with most of the modern commercial and industrial Product Standards, continuously investing in the up-to-date scientific training of the personnel and monitoring the ever-changing requirements of International, European and National Standardization

  • Measurement of conducted emissions (Standards ELOT ΕΝ 55032, ΕΝ 55014-1, EN 55015, EN 55011 etc) in power ports of equipment in the frequency range from 9kHz up to 30MHz, which aims to certify that neighboring apparatus is not affected by the disturbances that are conducted through the interconnecting cables of the equipment.

  • Measurement of radiated emissions (Standards ELOT ΕΝ 55032, ELOT ΕΝ 55014-1, ELOT EN 55015, ELOT EN 55011 etc) in the frequency range from 150kHz up to 18GHz, which aims to certify that neighboring apparatus is not affected by the disturbances emitted in terms of electromagnetic field from the enclosure of the equipment.

  • Measurement of discontinuous disturbances (Std ELOT ΕΝ 55014-1): transient conducted emissions generated by equipment with main functions that are carried out with motors and switching devices.

  • Measurement of the current harmonics (ELOT ΕΝ 61000-3-2) emitted by the equipment to its power supply network, thus contributing to maintaining the power quality of the electricity network.

armonikes
  • Measurement of voltage fluctuations and flicker (Standard ELOT ΕΝ 61000-3-3) which aims to certify that the equipment under test does not cause variations in its voltage supply.
